The price point of both the system and the game are also not particularly motivating. With Metroid Prime 4 and Pokemon Z-A both playable on Switch 1, I'm sensing this may end up be a Fall 2026 purchase for me (which is presumably when the next 3D Mario is gonna drop). I totally get that people wanna wait for their own personal reasons, but I also dunno why people are waiting for a 3d mario? The DK game was basically a new mario just without mario. The DK trailer just showed DK running around and smashing everything in his path, so I'm not sure what to make of it yet (and tbh not a fan of the redesign of DK himself lol).
