Lady Gaga adds SECOND Manchester date following huge demand for UK tour

Following ‘phenomenal demand’ during a presale earlier today (March 31), a second Manchester show has now been added and will be held at Co-op Live on October 8. As with all other shows, general sale will begin at 12pm on Thursday (April 3) via Ticketmaster and Live Nation.

Co-operative Members and O2 Priority customers will be able to take in a presale opportunity for the second Manchester show now, but demand is expected to be very high.

At 12pm, presale for the London and Manchester shows began and it saw people complain of 40,000-strong virtual queues, alongside high ticket prices.

Ahead of the sale, it was confirmed by Ticketmaster that tickets had been priced in advance, ranging from £59.50 to £571.00 (including fees) with a per order handling fee of £2.50. The announcement led some fans to call out the 'insane' cost of tickets.

One took to X, formerly Twitter, to write: "£571 for tickets that are NOT EVEN VIP for lady gaga is f***** mad. ik its lady gaga but that's just taking the absolute P***."

From "I didn't want to tour this year" to 3-4 nights in a row which is more difficult and tiring than one big show.

Yeah that's actually true... I wonder why she's doing it the more exhausting way? Maybe they couldn't book the stadiums? (One thing could be that it's going into winter here in Europe and most stadiums do not have a roof so it'll be too cold)

I actually like arenas. Yes the capacity is lower but the visuals of JWT I don't see that in an Arena Tour

Well she said they chose arenas this time so she could control details of the show in a way that you can't at stadiums.

I saw Gaga in the 10k capacity Zenith de Paris and it was fantastic! I also saw her among 80k stans at the Stade de France and it was kinda... Abstract.

By leaving it late it meant European stadiums were fully booked. There's been plenty of threads about it at the tail end of last year.

So its literally a choice of no tour or arena tour.

I mean she sold out her stadium dates with chromatica, this is a bigger album and she’s bigger musically rn than chroma. Idk what to say, I prefer a more detailed party, but how is she going to meet demand with 15k arenas.

And there are still people who dare to say she chose to do an arena tour because she can't tour stadiums anymore... I have to laugh
