Why are all the members releasing solo projects at the same time? Is it to have them compete against each other?

I was hoping she would sell a little more, it's clear the US isn't her main market, but she's selling quite well. In Korea to date she's sold a little over 500kk and she's also selling quite well in China.

He didn't release, not sure why people were so concerned, they are both on the same label and that wouldn't be a good business move for one to get blocked by the other when they can just release at different times and both get #1 lol

Their old label YG announced a Blackpink reunion starting in July. So I'm assuming they are forced(?) to release all their solo stuff by then? Maybe a new Blackpink album is in the works too?

Blackpink is going on Tour this year so maybe they want to have all of the solos released early in the year for Album #3 in the summer.

Everyone knows the US is the world so if you're not succesful in the US you're actually a failure in life and should definitely retire.
