She’s a versatile artist who’s influenced by many genres. If you only like TFM and BTW, then you’re a fan of those albums (which is fine), not the artist.

She said it’s gonna be several genres + this goddamn record is called M-A-Y-H-E-M. How can people think it’s gonna be cohesive dark pop from start to finish like are people really that dumb? 
Gaga worked her ass off to deliver an album for the fans and she’s being dragged from left and right. It’s not fair - because you thought you’ll only get satanic dance tracks you bop your cunts to - and Gaga is to blame? I’ll better see the complainers not in the Mayhem Ball presale queue

She's aware of the comments some people are making online.  she only misled people who didn't pay attention to what she was saying before the album released. 

This is her creation, she's proud and this IS darkpop, the only song you could argue it isn't darkpop is HBDYWM. I honestly don't know what people expect from her; she's held to an impossible standard.
