On Friday, the pop queen slammed Daily Mail for sharing photos of her walking into the hospital and calling her “unrecognizable without makeup.”

“I know there’s a certain image of me out there that’s getting a lot of attention on my appearance. I’ve been in the hospital for the last three days with a severe stomach flu and that was me entering the HOSPITAL,” Rexha wrote in an Instagram story. “Who waits outside of a hospital to get pics of people walking in? When will paparazzi stop exploiting women at their worst moments! I’m livid. You can’t even be sick in peace.”

In the photos shared by the tabloid, Rexha could be seen walking on the sidewalk in a sweatsuit and with no makeup. The outlet made no mention of where the photos were taken. Rexha slammed the outlet as “trash” and questioned why the Daily Mail didn’t mention she was walking into the hospital. “You know that’s wrong,” she wrote.

i agree they shouldnt have taken those pics

but it baffles me when celebs dont realize once you become famous and try your best to become famous, your privacy goes out the window, and its not a matter of principal - of course paparazzi shouldnt be doing this, but its the reality of being a famous person, you forfeit all your privacy.

dont wanna give up all your privacy? dont become famous, be a local artist who sings songs at pubs and clubs. but u want the millions, so obviously that comes with a sacrifice that can take a toll on you.

I feel like this is the same argument as when conversatives say of course SA shouldn't be a thing, but if you don't wanna be r*ped you should dress appropriately. There shouldn't be any reason we accept the fact that human beings feel unsafe, especially for something plain stupid. Don't stalk and harass people, it's really quite simple.

No shade at all since I do enjoy her music. But American paparazzi culture is so insane that even C-list celebs get exploited by the media like this. Also other than her eyes looking tired I think she looks fine, sunglasses would’ve helped but yea paparazzi are scummy as always.
