If they cut it down to maybe 3:15, it would be better but I actually don't miss "feel the beat under your feet" at all. this post is sponsored by red wine
BornAsUnic0rn 2,038
For what it sets out to do, and regarding the medium it‘s intended for (radio), it‘s truly not bad. It still has a good flow, it (mostly) keeps the energy of the song, and yes, it leaves out the best parts of the song, but they are the less commercial parts. I don’t think I need to explain the shortening of the song, we know how radio edits work.. But removing specifically these parts makes the song more palatable for radio, because it‘s easier to find a space for it on the playlist/it flows with a bigger number of songs. Defmix100 6,206
Same on the UK radio I listen to, they also cut DWAS and removed the hook from Poker Face 1
Cavadour 2,223
Since I don't listen to radio, is this Listener's Digest® approach also used with other albums or artists ? Late to the party but I got a diamond heart

I’m wondering what stations are playing the edit versus the full song or maybe even a different edit Z100 (biggest Pop station in NYC/the US) plays it in full.
southpaw773 3,169
This is totally trash. I’m glad I don’t listen to fm radio if this is the kind of abominations corporate music thinks we want or should have. Like a poem said by a lady in red
Jessica Germ 1,842
Oh it is horrendous indeed. In France they play it in full though 🙏

Quartz 12,278
I'm glad radio is dying. Inside, we are really made the same. 🕊
ItalianGuy 12
I’ve heard it since this was posted on US radio a lot and it’s the full song including intro. Anyone heard the edit in the US? It seems they’re using the full.
