Teletubby 143,717
“A Complete Unknown,” a musical biopic starring Timothée Chalamet as Bob Dylan, has cemented a box office milestone, notching $100 million in global ticket sales. After seven weeks on the big screen, “A Complete Unknown” has grossed $70 million in North America and $30 million internationally for a grand total of $100 million. James Mangold (“Walk the Line”) directed the movie, which reportedly cost between $60 million to $70 million to produce. Since movie theater owners get to keep roughly half of ticket sales, “A Complete Unknown” likely won’t turn a profit in its theatrical run. Murakami27 3,709
I like Timmy and have seen many of his films. But I just have zero desire to watch a Bob Dylan biopic, no matter how good it is. 6
skaxboy 5,165
I want to watch it but this doesn’t look like a movie I need to spend $15 to watch in theaters. I’ll wait for a streaming service release.

Ladle Ghoulash 19,500
Ngl I feel like we already have enough movies abt Bob Dylan, so I can kinda see why there wasn’t as much of a market for it We have forgotten our public MANNERS

Not for this movie specifically, but the way I've seen so many people measure success and quality solely by how well theatrical runs are is annoying. Using the info for stan wars and political arguments. It's weird behavior imo This is my Hannah Montana™️ lipgloss.
RAMROD 107,448
Well, he got acting nom for this role from Oscars, though he might not win it, so that is okay. Movie studios & actors agencies want only two things, 1.) huge grossings or 2.) huge accolades, doesn't have to win it but so long it got important awards noms, it is good enough. 4th Time Around 4,072
The biopic format is so tired and predictable at this point that I had no desire to watch it and this is coming from a Dylan fan Hey, I'm king of the world, you ought to hear my song, you come on measure me, I'm twenty inches long
Anderson123 37,510
I wanted to watch this but several other Oscar movies started coming out around the same time and wasn’t my priority but hope I can still watch it before they remove it.
