getbehindmybarrier 520
I would kinda love the dancer yells at the beginning of the video edit to be in the album track. It's so ****ing good. 2
Awrah999 4,159
I know there's always recency bias but really thinking about it Abracadabra is my favorite Lady Gaga song EVER. The music video is on par with Bad Romance for me and if it's not #1 it's definitely top 2-3. It's so insanely addicting, has beautiful falsetto angelic vocals on the bridge contrasted with the demonic hyperpop chants (THE FLOORS ON FIREEEEEEEE)...the depth of the production and Gaga's vocal delivery are SUBLIME. The smallest little details make the biggest difference: the tiny bass that hits right between the huge build up from the prechorus into chorus, the little yelping reminiscent of those dark squeals in Disease, the guitar strumming perfectly complementing the Eurotrance melody, the harmonies on the second verse "use your passion! no retUUUUuuuuUUUUUuuuuuurnnnn" that Gaga hasn't done in ages...this song has so many parts of it that are undeniably catchy. There are basically two prechoruses after the verse, then the chorus, then the post chorus, then the extra post post chorus. It's like Bad Romance, Judas, Venus had a baby and laced it with every letter in the alphabet Gaga has reached different level of stratospheric euphoria with this song and I cannot stop playing it. Thank you mother! 5 8
JustTea 4,472
The way we ever doubted her releasing this "non-radio friendly" song based on a 5 second snippet... 3 5 1
Controversiaga 9,618
This very likely is one of her best songs and music videos of all time. Pronounced like “Balenciaga” . Emphasis on the “Ga”
Mother of Puppies 35,744
It's so Artpop meets TFM - the visuals (especially the beginning) remind me of Alejandro and the tempo of the song, cuz it's rlly fast, reminds me of Judas Edited 5 hours ago by Mother of Puppies THEY CALL ME LADY MOP

artd0me 583
I think it’s the first time I ever bought a mv on iTunes… and the sound on this is heaven, better than the actual audiotrack on AM
Mr S 8,420
Not a fan of the chorus. I mean the melody is vintage Gaga but some better lyrics would be nice to stick In you head But everything else... Wow. It's exactly what the gays want. This is what we wanted chromatica to be. It's vintage Gaga, but still fresh sounding. The operatic bridge is one of the best things she's ever done That video... Wow. Jojn Wayne, 911 are nice but this is prime Gaga. The choreo, the direction, the looks, the budget wow. Edited 5 hours ago by Mr S

Mr Oak 7,222
How ICONIC would it have been if she released a snippet with the dancers chanting the chorus and her walking around like a little goblin?
2ndTimeAround 628
I’ve been watching the video and listening to this quite a bit now and I’ve finally found my conclusion as to why this song and video HITS different. The entire song and video is completely nostalgic and both fresh, the BPM is quick but heavy and that makes you want to throw your body around like you’re having a deep seizure, but the one thing that really stood out for me, and could be what makes it successful with the general public is that it has both depth (in the way that we stans love to dissect) but is also unapologetically an objective dance song. Sure, it has a theme and narrative, but it’s a self indulgent dance song. “Feel the beat under your feet, the floors on fire”. It’s not a dark love song, it’s not a glaringly obvious “self healing” song that Gaga has the tendency to write and put out. It’s a banger that draws your attention to the beat, the catchy hooks and makes you want to dance, not dissect the meaning behind it and I think that’s what makes this track fantastic.
