Economy 52,842
https://www.ctvnews.ca/toronto/article/not-anymore-american-liquor-to-be-removed-from-lcbo-shelves-on-tuesday-ford-says/ Primer of Ontario Doug Ford has announced that on Tuesday all American alcohol will be pulled from the shelves. Ontarios Government has a state owned monopoly in selling liquor (LCBO) so this effectively applies to all stores that sell anything other than beer (which is allowed in independant stores) The Province of British Columbia has made a simmilar move tho in the case of BC it seems like they are targeting only Red States for now

They always been more expensive in Canada because of our supply management system. It has the advantage of more security when things go wrong (bird flu is affectjng our supply way less and prices rose less thab in US) but they are chronically higher to begin with The cheapest brands for a dozen eggs go for like $4 ($3USD) while free range or organic go for $6 or 7 (like $4.50 USD)

With the USDA predicting a price increase of around 20%, potentially reaching an average price of around $7 per dozen due to ongoing bird flu outbreaks impacting egg production.
