Eish dont kill me but i feel i should be allowed to express my honest opinion 🫣

 

i dont like hate the album but i was severely underwhelmed. The 3 songs I liked the most were the 3 that are already singles...

 

Perfect Celebrity and Beast were the 2 other highlights for me I liked almost as much as Abracadabra (but Disease remains my fav by far)

 

I loved the snippets but I find the snippets took the best and coolest parts of the song so I basically feel like the best of the album was already out and the rest felt like filler to me

 

I expected to be absolutely wowed based on the fact I loved all 3 singles and the snippets were so cool but instead everything that wasnt already released was below what already was

 

Maybe it will grow on me. Lets see

No skips. I’m pleasantly surprised. Every album since BTW has had some skips/filler for me, and it’s always taken me time to fully love each one. I just really loved every song so fast and each seem single worthy to me. Abra may ne my least favorite and I still love that song.

Exactly the same feeling here, but Garden Of Eden is starting to grow on me even though I think the chorus is very generic, so who knows, maybe the rest of the album is next

Fingers crossed. I been known to be underwhelmed with Gaga songs innitially then they really grew on me so maybe ill learn to love more of the album than just those 5 songs

People eat up Pink Pony Club but its nowhere near the quality of a single song on Mayhem…

YOU GUYS I’M SO HAPPY. I posted yesterday that I was underwhelmed with the album, and I was bummed all day that I didn’t love it like all of her previous albums. But I listened to it again on my way home and it just suddenly clicked. Idk how I didn’t see how amazing these songs are, I’m sorry Gaga.  And no I’m not forcing myself to like them, but it’s like I’m actually hearing them for real for the first time.

I'm playing the album a lot and recognizing most songs. I love this begging of a new album, then I'll get to know them, play a thousand times and get bored of it. Lol. But that's when it gets under my skin and becomes me and my album for life, like born this way. I may go a few years without playing it but I always come back to it because it's my style of music. Just like Mayhem. Some albums are just timeless for you.

I listened to the album so for me…..

 

I honestly only like Disease, Abra and Garden. 
 

Abra is pop masterpiece. It’s one of her best songs in par with Bad Romance and Poker Face. It really deserves the equal success. 
 

Rest of the songs I really don’t click yet… including dwas. My thoughts that song is do basic yet it’s her most successful song 🤷🏻‍♂️.
