Actually it makes no sense for a child who was born in a country and only ever known that country to be stripped of their legal statehood and expelled to a country they've never been to.

I assume theres some kind of global agreement to allow citizenship for children of citizens of yours that had their children in another land if said Country doesnt want to give them citizenship?

 

Cuz otherwise what if Mexico for example said we wont give them automatic citizenship because they werent born in our soil. Then what?

It really depends on nation. 

And not many nations are keen on being landed with a random child or multiple random children that they then have to support through the social security system & social services system.

They know its unenforceable though, its a deliberate push to have a supreme court case to erode the 14th amendment. 

Because if the Supreme Court allows it, perfect they can rip citizenship from literally anyone in America and block them from receiving constitutional rights. And if the court blocks it, its a PR victory. Trump didn't fail, the deep state intervened blah blah.

I am not sure how they can possibly do that. I don’t even think the Supreme Court can support it because it’s so obvious in the constitution. The only way it could happen is if we make an amendment and that would make it very difficult and I doubt that would go through with the states.

The amount of people I know, including family, who are only here legally because of Birth Right Citizenship and chose to vote for someone who wants to remove this, is crazy to me. I don't understand how they would want to prevent people, who are in the same shoes that our grandparents and parents were in when they came here, have the same rights they have now.
