I was about to say how come an unknown singer occupies the no. 1 spot then I remembered that this list take into account US chart performance :huntyga:

Wow, he's so local but a very popular local US artist.

Good for him I guess but he is literally non-existence here in ASIA :enigma:

The Fame Monster

I’m surprised that The Fame Monster has spent only 74 weeks on the Billboard 200 chart, while The Fame has managed a massive 397 weeks.

In my opinion, The Fame Monster is the stronger, more impactful album. It makes me wonder how things might have turned out if it had been released as a stand-alone studio album with a couple of extra songs, instead of being tied to The Fame as a reissue.

Did releasing TFM as a reissue boost The Fame’s success but leave TFM in The Fame’s shadow? If it had stood on its own, could it have been even more influential and spent way more time on the Billboard 200 chart?

No. Where is Aerial by Kate Bush? Where is ANY Album by Björk? Vespertine? Medúlla? Biophilia? Where is Visions by Grimes? LP1 by Fka twigs? El mal querer is missing, Ghosteen is missing. Anything by Bon Iver is missing, Preacher‘s daughter is missing, Lungs and NFR are missing etc. etc.

Im not saying this as a Fan of These artists but genuinely they made a big impact in the Music scene.

edit: nevermind, i didnt see that it’s about Chart Performance.
Slay, Fallen by Evanescence. My First favorite Album and band when I was 11 🤘
