Also, I don't listen to Charli 'cause that genre offends my ears but her little brats would probably fight you on that assertion. Her music goes beyond lyrics, it's about the actual sonic experience which isn't unlike a lot of my favorite songs written/composed by less loud artists.

The subject matter of an artist's lyrics can't determine how basic they are. It's gotta be about their entire image.

There are so many videos of MJ fans cackling while watching Swifties say they think she's "MJ levels of famous"

She is the true definition of basic. Absolutely nothing new about her formula and nothing innovative about her work. That's not to say she's bad or not talented but if we go by my definition of basic (bringing nothing new to the table), she is it 100%.

her vocal ability is mediocre at best, she cant dance , sure she can write with cowriters but thats it 

i dont even care if she becomes the highest selling female artist of all time, the level of talent she has does not match the hype
