I think it'll either come this week or Sept 3 when part 2 drops.

She doesn't have a show for the Mayhem Ball until the 22nd, and the Wednesday event in Sydney is August 16, which would be the perfect time to release the song. If they don't do it by then, they're probably waiting for part 2 to be released.

My guess is it will drop August 29th. Last Friday before Wednesday S2 part 2 drops on the 3rd. 

I'll be surprised if they midweek drop it on the 3rd. And releasing it after part 2 comes out would be silly

In an ideal world, they would release it on the 29th August which is also the final submission day for the Grammys. Then release the music video directed by Tim Burton the following week coinciding with Wednesday's Part 2 release date. 

I only mention the Grammys because if Dead Dance goes viral and smashes like Bloody Mary did, Gaga would be able to submit the song for Best Song Written for Visual Media and possibly in Best Pop Solo Performance. I need mother to sweep...let's get this campaign running!

August 29th is the only logical answer. It enters this year’s Grammy eligibility period and it’s another category she can submit (Best Song Written for Visual Media). Also, it’s a Friday so they can harness the full tracking week. The Music video, if the rumors are true and it’s a short film, then should be released simultaneously so it’s another category (Best long form music video). 
 

If they mid-week release this it’s gonna tank on the charts and I think it’s better to start hyping up Part 2 now. I haven’t seen much about Season 2 on social media so it’s definitely not the moment season 1 was. 
 

They should even announce the single this week

Sabrina will have all the playlist deal on this week and tbh I could see her going for the next year on Grammy for Dead Dance. She already has Abra in the big categories, and some stuff with Harlequin and Happy Mistake for the Visual Medias , Traditional Pop ones

It’s not like Sabrina will monopolize all playlists. Tons of artist release at the same time and all share spots on the same playlists. If Gaga waits for next eligibility period this song ain’t winning anything because it will lose all momentum. Season 2 is out now. Waiting until 2027 when there is nothing pushing the song won’t do it any favors.

and Happy Mistake is not eligible for Best Song Written For Visual media because it’s not in the film I think. Folie a Deux would be the eligible song for that category from Harlequin
