drew seems nice but i think theres something wrong with her .... cuz shes always trying to sit right in front of ppl she interviews and its cringey 

if a man were doing that he would be cancelled immediately - rightfully so

she needs to stop, its not endearing

She wants to come off as if she has been friends with her guests for years by sitting close to them to create intimacy and a sense of coziness. But it just feels so forced and cringe.

I feel like Drew should have a meeting before her show starts to see if the people she’s interviewing are okay with the touching and caressing. Cooper Koch for example, encouraged and expected it. Obviously not everyone is going to be the same, look at Martha Stewart for example.

I tended to usually like her for the most part.

 

But yeah I watched her interview Christina Aguilera not that long ago....... the whole eye contact/being in her personal space made me uncomfortable just watching it.

Aside from being uncomfortable to watch I’ve seen that this closeness and touching can also be used to express dominance and to make other people anger decrease I’ve seen many politicians and teachers do this consciously or subconsciously
