In what way? Democracy being a top tier issue bodes well for Harris and, given that the economy was a 50/47 split between them, it being the number two issue doesn’t really hurt her too much.

A majority of Harris voters said the state of democracy was their number 1 issue, while only 12% of Trump voters said the same.

I see what you mean but I don’t think this type of MAGAniac would answer that democracy it’s their top issue, I would think immigration or economy would be first in their minds.

The one I saw from CNN showed democracy as the banner issue and, even with those who said the economy, Harris only trailed Trump on that issue in terms of voter confidence by about 4% (which is remarkable, given how poorly the voters seem to perceive Biden on the economy by contrast).

Yes it was the same poll that I quoted but they changed it to being the economy the top issue shortly after, abortion was trailing behind on 3rd place
