Sad if thats the case. But then again Gaga has five #1s and only one #2... i think shes been lucky actually that when a big song of hers peaked it wasnt blocked by some bigger hit peaking at the same time more often tbh

Like TikTok and BR? :selena:

DWAS is bigger, so this is annoying

But I'm still surprised hot 100 is still more important than global 200 when for obvious reasons the later should be the most pretigious

True. But Global 200 started only a few years ago and as thus, Gaga missed most oppurtunities to go #1 there and shes not going to be among the artists with the most #1s

Hot 100 on the otherhand is the 2nd most major chart and Gaga already has 5 (6 if were lucky) so if she can get a few more she can be among the females with the most #1s but thats not gonna happen with Global 200

I myself care more about Hot 100 and I feel like thats maybe why. She already has a streak there shes not gonna catch up at at this point in Global 200

Charts thread saying the newest predictions have it at no.2, with less points than the midweek predicted it to have :(

who knows, maybe they really lowballed the physical sales from the variants and from the live vid

I don't understand how the newest prediction is with less points than the midweek prediction??

how did we lose points?? i'm so confused by all of this tbh

Its totally possible the predictions could have already factored in the fact DWAS had vinyls coming out, was rising on radio and A Bar Song Falling

If it rose on radio less than hoped and sold less than forecast, we could have dropped in points

When does the update come out? What position is DWAS at right now?

No one understands it. It truly makes zero sense. Zero.

I decided last night I no longer care. Just going to enjoy the song for what it is - a true smash.

Plus, I am firmly on the Disease train now anyway. And I don't care at all about charts for that. I just love the song.

Yeah. Another #1 woulda been awesome but oh well. We know US & Canada still put a high emphasis on radio for charts so it was always gonna be tough to beat that gap

It's not even the radio nonsense that irks me. I know how that works. I just don't understand how the final prediction dropped ten points from the midweek prediction. That's a LOT of points.

And radio did NOT drop at all after the midweek prediction. So radio had nothing to do with the drop.

And we know that T-Thu DWAS was selling great because of the variants and discounts. So sales had nothing to do with the drop. Sales definitely increased after midweek.

And streaming was stable after midweek. So streaming had nothing to do with the drop.

So what caused it! It's so confusing! I wish someone could explain it to me.

Ok fine. If 2 now, can we still make it 1 eventually? It still fits the holidays. And...we still have the Grammys guys...noms wiĺl come this Friday. What if they pull off a Shallow moment like the performance at the Oscars but here at the Grammys...and thats when the song hits #1 :bradley:

DWAS still has a chance, i still believe it. #2 peak is very good yes, so i will def take it. Also, we dont have the official result out yet...maybe they will surprise us

Not to sound like trump but I won’t support the outcome if DWAS isn’t #1. It makes no sense. The early predictions had no idea they were going to discount the song, release the live Vegas performance & put out 3 variants. It’s not adding up.
