Joker: Folie à Deux has been a major bomb at the box office, earning scathing reviews from fans and critics alike. But it has at least one big fan in director Quentin Tarantino, who praised the unfortunate sequel at length on The Bret Easton Ellis Podcast, calling it the "Natural Born Killers I would have dreamed of seeing."

“I really, really liked it, really. A lot. Like, tremendously, and I went to see it expecting to be impressed by the filmmaking,” Tarantino said. “But I thought it was going to be an arms-length, intellectual exercise that ultimately I wouldn’t think worked like a movie, but that I would appreciate it for what it is. And I’m just nihilistic enough to kind of enjoy a movie that doesn’t quite work as a movie or that’s like a big, giant mess to some degree.

Imagine Gaga getting a big role in (supposedly) Tarantino's last movie.... I say supposedly because so many artists announced their last this, or last that and then returned after a few years..  or days

Coppola liked it too. Not even 1 month and legendary filmakers are defending the movie. Soon, many people will watch it and realize they joined the hate train on Joker 2 just for vibes

Coppola and Tarentino liking it, is a proof that you can have tastes and appreciate this movie :vegas:

Oh Paul Schrader we truly don't care abt your opinion.

This dude is known for having worked with Brian de Palma, Martin Scorsese and his most famous movie was "American Gigolo" that I know only for it's Blondie soundtrack looool :huntyga:

So do I.
Everyone keeps mocking the same reviews but honestly- it was not bad. There were only a couple storytelling issues. But overall it was an interesting film!

Get the pinot ready, because it's turtle time.

The movie isn't one for the masses and it's completely fine. I wouldn't have been disappointed if it was marketed accurately. :huntyga:

Drop it

I know I'm not the only one, but I've been saying it from the start: it's the kind of film people will revisit and consider an overlooked gem.

The legends are starting to speak up already. I kinda wish they could've done so a little earlier, but that's okay.

This is my Hannah Montana™️ lipgloss.
