My personal thought is that they could've been all unsure about following the original plan and releasing the song in October, since JFAD was such a huge fiasco (and it might have been tough for Gaga to deal with it... Maybe it still is, who knows). Anyway, it's undoubtedly the right time. She's the 3rd most listened-to artist in the world 😅.... They're probably just taking it slowly this time. Or maybe it's all in our minds and Gaga is having the best time of her life At some point promo and her personal feedback will come... Give her and her team time to build up hype into the second single, into the album, into announcing the tour… who cares about a #1? Is it nice to have! YES! Does it matter in the context of it all? NO! It’s Gaga - of course she is going to promote this project. She’s finally in a good headspace and seems to be excited AF about LG7. So FGS just let them do their thing and enjoy Disease and stream the F out of it because it’s what we’ve literally been asking and waiting for for years. Remember that Gaga had said that with this album she would return to her roots and among those things could be using alter egos to provide fantasy and mistery to this project. I really do think Gaga should’ve waited until the new year to kick off the new era. Single in Jan and album in Feb. It seems Gaga gave us so much content recently that the fans would be okay with it and Gaga would have time to recharge batteries and come back with new energy. I disagree, I think she's timed it all in this way to optimize her launch pad for LG7.
