For Gaga, people saying “huge comeback” “insane dark pop rock”, that’s enough for people to be intrigued and give it a first play - it’s Lady Gaga, after all

This song is a grower, so Gaga posting the reactions/reviews/TikTok’s slowly spreads it on her socials like she’s doing, and her label are using OOH billboards to increase the reach to get more people to actually be reminded “oh let me check out the new Gaga song”

Then (which I presume), tomorrow, the video will drop. If the video is good enough (which I presume it is), fans, reviewers etc will RAVE and that’ll convince people to check it out - giving Disease a second play for those that checked it out on day one, and probably either changing someone’s mind on it, or making them love it more

It makes sense! Why rush all the promo and then it’s over with, she would be spamming her feed/over exposing herself, and then there’s nothing left to follow (realistically nothing does much for streaming/charts other than people liking the song itself, so the only promo, really, is reachability and repeatability)

I work in social media and realistically SPAMMING content is never a good idea, sure the first day debut may be less, but the long term reach is going to be higher by letting the content have its moment (and user generated TikTok’s are the only way to a hit now anyway)
