NUTELLA 24,983
Sorry to ruin everyone's day, but apparently Jim Carrey, Ron Howard & Brian Grazer are prepping a sequel to the creepy, commercially-successful live action version of How The Grinch Stole Christmas from the year 2000. Whether you enjoy that (genuinely unsettling... cult classic?) version or not... what the hell? https://deadline.com/2026/06/the-grinch-2-jim-carrey-ron-howard-universal-sequel-1236959495/ 1 2
RebeldeFaith 5,683
So, he's fighting Krampus on this one, or what? Completely unnecessary, but I suppose it'll keep some people employed. Can I vanish into a cheeseburger pizza?
gagzus 21,494
Love love LOVED the original I still watch it every Xmas. But this is beyond unnecessary, Jim will NOT sit and get put into a practical suit for hours at a time again so they’ll CGI a lot of it and it’ll lose its charm. Not to mention Taylor doesn’t do acting anymore since she’s the lead of The Pretty Reckless now and I doubt Christine will come back as Martha May. They should’ve just made him voice The Grinch in the other remake/reboot they did.
Starmie25 22,378
That's wild to hear. Dr Suess' wife despised live adaptations of his books and Jim Carrey himself stated the makeup was full on "torture" Edited 5 hours ago by Starmie25

And yeah I noticed that too he may have been a rotten human being but they should’ve respected his wife’s wishes, she’s only been dead what? 10 years yet lol

EART HL I NG 907
Loved this movie since it came out, watch it every year in December, and have an unhealthy attachment to Where Are You Christmas so intense that I’m begging Mimi to dust off the hard drive that has her version and release it. That being said, this doesn’t need to happen
