I’m listening on Spotify and I’m not here for the clean version of PPP and I feel like Sharpest Tool also got the clean version. edit: this is my first listen thru the album and espresso has been cursed too! The three singles are the standouts for me. already thought this about email I can’t send but it’s also tooooo inspired by Ariana (especially good graces) and Taylor (sharpest tool looks like it could be a reject from folklore) too bad. It's very safe and palatable, meant for current tastes and not a lot deeper than that. I liked Please Please Please, Good Graces, Bed Chem, Espresso, Dumb & Poetic, Lie To Girls and Don't Smile. But they were all just ok and PPP and Bed Chem were the only ones that were a little bit above average. I just have the feeling that she's been heavily pushed on the public out of nowhere and is having a moment right now but don't know if she's going to hang around in the long term. The fact it took her so long to get to this point is already a sign that it just came down to the right place and the right time (and Taylor Swift's endorsement, naturally).
