Can't Stop The High is a career highlight As an label-ally-adjacent song, the cure is unlisteningable (to the point I'm making up a new word to describe it) Joanne is great, actually. It’s literally about the entire dichotomy of her whole person and the reasons for being a pop musician. Gaga is so established now she could retire from pop music in general and make more experimental music if she wanted to. But she just wants to keep making pop music and this fanbase doesn’t seem to grasp that concept well. Whether we like to admit it or not, The Fame/The Fame Monster will forever be seen by the public as her best album. The public doesn’t look so deep into the music Gaga is putting out as we think they do, they want her to make catchy pop songs or ballads that’s show off her voice and that’s all. Her last successful singles have been either catchy pop tunes, collaborations with more universally loved artists (in the west anyway) and ballads.
