I mean if you compare the UK numbers vs its population with the US vs its population this just doesn't stack up. 

1.5mil streams vs 69 million people

4.5mil streams vs 340 million people.

Because on a per capita basis we aren't low. We're equal or better to similar markets.

I expected more streams from the UK to a British artist, especially an acclaimed one like Styles.

And in general it has always been low in the UK in the last 20 years, even more maybe but I don't remember much.

I think piracy really messed up music consumption in the UK.
