my thoughts too. as much as i want #1 on Hot 100 the US streams has been decreasing or stagnant these two weeks.. which is annoying because the US would rather listen to bubblegum pop like sabrina’s or that bar song.. just tasteless

the thing is Gaga has enough points for #1, some of the other songs are really strong and they all are free falling! So Gaga can snatch it

if they promote joker using the song, or if the song makes it to the official album it would shoot it up to #1.

DWAS was first performed on live tv yesterday in the musical variety show here in PH, so i believe that made people here more and more curious about the song. This show is proven to boosts streams here

i’m still holding out hope that they can get #1 with a little boost like vinyl release or live performance, but i have to keep my expectations low because of how interscope handles her previous #1 singles that got away like applause etc. 😭

The song is rising everywhere. Its steady on YT. Hold no1 global spotify and steady at no 3-2 besides that sabrina chick. The monumentum of that girl will pass shorthly Im sure. Summer is over. She is basic and is serving bubblegum that the people will forget about in two weeks. The thing is that she released the taste video with a famous actress. Nothing special at all. With a unique performance at the VMAs by Gagita and Bruno Im 100% it will help it rise even more to the no1 position on billboard hot 100. Also about you mentioning the ASIB impact, did you forget she has a movie coming up in one month with Joaqim? Thank u

It's not gonna happen  WB would never use a trendy song to promote a r-rated drama aiming for Awards Season. And also, on Gaga's side would be seen as a cheap tactic to boost streams for DWAS (not that Gaga has anything to do with the marketing).

 

What we can do, however, is keep making and  promoting edits of the movie with the song

yeah this is the most realistic scenario for us tbh. let the GP and radio slowly carry the song to the top unless Interscope wanna boost some sales by releasing variants or a cute performance by them but i’m not expecting anything knowing how Interscope always mishandles Gaga’s potential
