You could argue that they arent on eachothers levels because they are in different buildings and do different things for nearly completely different audiences. They are neck and neck as the greatest popstars this century for essentially completely different reasons.

Girl, stop the bulshit. They’re on different levels, period. Even Taylor swift herself would admit it.

Considering it's based on  commercial success I was sure Taylor would be at #1, but I stopped trying to find a sense in the BillyBoardy lists and charts for a long time.

It’s not based on commercial success only though. It’s also based on cultural impact and influence so we can’t deny Beyonce rightfully deserves the #1 spot

beyonce is more culturally impactful and has influenced more artists than traylor.

Maisie Peters, Pheobe Bridgers, Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo (pre-drama lol), Gracie Abrams, Conan Gray, Maggie Rogers, Boygenius, Beabadoobee, Kelsea Ballerini, Fletcher, Griff, Tate McRae,

all of those are flops and unknowns except for sabrina.

beyonces inspired lady gaga, ariana grande, rihanna britney adele, nicki minaj, miley

Bey deserves the spot, far more culturally impactful plus the music is a million times better. As a performer too; Taylor cannot touch her, she’s on the Michael Jackson level of talent. Congrats to Beyoncé
