Tim Walz is even much better than Bernie Sanders, so this is amazing! I cant believe im liking Kamala! Although I know nothing about her because she refuse to talk about policies.

I think policy specifics will come some time after the convention. She’s riding the wave of support at the moment and it’s expected to peak at the convention. Why do anything to potentially mess that up right now? I assume the strategy is widen the gap with Trump as much as possible before introducing plans that may turn off some voters.

Well people need to atleast know the basics of what she stands for.

Everyone knew what Trump stood for and he won, and we all know what Bernie stands for and he would have won, but being nothing is suspicious to me personally..

I agree with the principle of that statement but in this case I’m ok with her extending the Honeymoon period as long as possible. This is the first time in a long time that Dems are playing like they want to win.

You're forgetting that even in 2016 the actual policy platform for Trump didn't exist until the RNC.

That's how the Presidential election works, the convention signs off on policy.

Hearing Shapiro speak at the rally… yeah I can see some appeal and he’s yapping about the right policies.

He’s not a total disaster but yeah still so glad he’s not the running mate

Yeah, he’s definitely a compelling orator and is good with the crowd. I’m interested to see what a solo presidential bid from him would look like.

I think he’d do well but Walz has the VP serve and Whitmer will be such a strong force. They’d definitely be my top 3 🍿

Seconded on Whitmer! She has so much potential and would love to see her as the nominee in (God willing) 2032

Up until 7/21, she had to be a mouthpiece for Biden’s agenda. She’s only been a presidential candidate for two weeks, and having a full platform with detailed policy stances takes more time than that to put together, not to mention most of her energy has probably been devoted to getting the campaign in motion. I have no doubt she’ll have something substantive by the convention. I think considering it ‘suspicious’ is a little unfair lol
