It's crazy because I never listened to any song from Sabrina Carpenter yet this song keeps being included in my daily mixes.

It's even more annoying because it's included in my french mix, kpop mix, "urban" mix while this song doesn't fit in any of these categories... Payola is too real on this lol

Yes, tbh. Chappell is doing everything people love or loved about Gaga but in a way that is more emotionally resonant, at least for now. Also, her live reputation has solidified her artistry in a way we have not seen since Gaga herself.

I think people will be more curious to see what Chappell is doing in a performance, on a next single, album, tour,... than Gaga and there is where the "problem" could be. It's totally normal though. Eventually Gaga will be more and more like Madonna. Respected but also in the background. And this fanbase is not gonna be able to handle it, so that will be fun.
