I’m Argentinian and I just want to say that I send love to all Venezuelans living under this regime of tyranny, and lots of love to all Venezuelans living in Argentina. Even tho I know it must be hard to leave your home country, argentina is yours too.

Thank you, you guys are THE BEST. I couldn't feel more welcomed, supported and protected! Argentina will forever be my second home

There's no freedom of speech in Venezuela and no one is allowed to speak on what's going on in the country. The TV is silent, the newspapers are silent. Social media is the only tool to be informed. However, an Argentinian TV station went to Venezuela to cover the election and they have been reporting everything that's going on. Venezuelans all over the world are able to know what's happening thanks to them, and also Venezuelans inside Venezuela because otherwise they wouldn't know anything but what's on social media.

We love you and thank you for all your tremendous support :kara:

This is why it's so important to keep on echoing everything that's happening right now in Venezuela. Everything counts, share all the information you can on social media!

We will thank you forever

I’m doing all I can to raise awareness on social media, count on me to keep making noise! Venezuela is being seen by the world. Hope your country clings to the hope of better days ahead and that your family and friends are safe! Sending love

URGENT UPDATE:

Maduro has just spoken to his followers requesting that they use an application called VenAPP, in order to identify people who are participating in the protests. He basically ordered his people to send them the names of people who are calling out the fraud in order to persecute them and punish them.

This is very serious.

Leaving this video below so you can see how far it has come. It's in Spanish, sorry to English speakers (it's basically showing how the app works and the options you have to report people who are protesting).

Everyone please report the app so it's taken taken down. It's called VenAPP, you will find it both in the Google Play Store and in the App Store

Thank you!!

"Venezuela’s 2024 presidential election did not meet international standards of electoral integrity and cannot be considered democratic".

The Carter Center was one of the very few international organizations that were allowed to participate as an observer of the presidential election in Venezuela.

I tried to report it but it’s not being displayed for me, I think it’s due to my localization.

I just read Maduro ordered military patrols across the whole country 😔

Yes he did... I'm starting to feel hopeless, I'm afraid this will lead to nothing again :ohno:

I’m afraid that’s what will happen if he manages to contain the protests. Hopefully people won’t back down from this battle 😔

Sorry for being absent. I've been trying to post this since I woke up but there have been a few blackouts in the country.

I was part of a protest in my city yesterday, sadly, police took over our way and had to turn away. Venezuelans are seriously sick and annoyed by the current situation. Here's a picture I posted on my Tumblr blog.

Spoiler

They're arresting people with motorcycles because they don't want them to go out and protest :(

I've been seeing lots of reports of people speaking about the army taking the streets and stopping people in the streets, checking their phones to see if they have discussed their political view with others. If they have chats speaking against the dictatorship, they are immediately imprisoned.

This is scary and very concerning :ohno:
