As influential as Sophie was and still is and will continue to be, this is not like when Michael Jackson or Amy Winehouse passed where they immediately rushed to put together some demos for a new album just for the hype of it.

Her brother lead the finishing of the album evidently. So I don’t think it could have been finished in better hands

Had given up on this coming out this decade Supposedly she had essentially finished an album and shot a music video in 2019/20 (confirmed, it leaked a while back) but had shelved it to go in a different direction during lockdown. So it's likely a lot of that stuff.
