I think Gaga (the performer) doesn’t even know who she is anymore. 
A lot of her actions are kind of contradictory

take for example one of her instagram posts where she says something like Hollywood is a ghost town. Meanwhile she’s starring in a billion dollar blockbuster Hollywood film… like girl…

I think they got scared too. When they heard Beyoncé Taylor dua and Billie were releasing. But in actuality none of those releases really made big waves for more than a week or few days. 
 

I also find it interesting that an insider on ATRL said interscope sent Gaga’s first LG7 back to her because they didn’t like it lol. Maybe the insider was joking but somewhere along the lines the plans seemed to change

There’s so much drama and theatrics in this thread.

Not to be delulu but to be delulu, when UMG took their music off from tiktok the teasing paused. Then they reach an agreement, the music is back, and teasing resumes. I just think it’s more than coincidental. They may have promo/marketing that heavily utilizes tiktok to extend her reach to younger fans for this cycle.

EDIT: on the topic of the latest IG post though, I have a good friend who’s a little older that has been a stan since The Fame. He grazed over Gaga in our chat about pop stars saying:

“Stefani I am tired of these little posts. Give me some music. Because these other artists are pop stars. Stefani is an ARTIST. She PAINTS. I’m waiting!”

and I think this sums up the “lack of likes”; the hardcore stans are indeed just ready for the era to start. I don’t think a lack of likes on a post mean anything negative though. I think the hype isn’t dying (it may be for some stans) but I feel it’s more so intensifying with stans growing impatient. The more stans grow impatient the harder they’ll ride for her once an announcement is made and the era begins. However 100% the GP is also not watching her IG for music news lololol. That’s just stans.

I think Gaga got to a comfortable place in her career where she doesn't have to be a 'tryhard' anymore.

She's doing what she feels like doing and tbh that's the dream for anybody.

Sis she’s been Hollywood her whole career. I can’t believe you’re criticizing her over something so trivial.. like the tweet about Hollywood wasn’t anti it.. it’s been a professional goal (& dream) of hers to be a working actor, and she’s gotten to work with some of the finest film talent in the world - & she’s pretty much reached the top of the film industry in just 2 films. Why are you criticizing her for it? Like.. it’s a negative that she’s got the star power to be cast in billion dollar films? Some of y’all need to wake up & realize she’s so much more than what you thought she was 10+ years ago.
