Oh ffs "promo budgets" aren't just suddenly slashed. The money has been approved and long spent, everything is booked and ready to go.

I strongly believe the only reason why her singles keep tanking is because she had a genuine moment with the Barbie soundtrack and should've held Houdini back to ride that wave instead. All three singles lacked the same magic as Dance The Night Away (but I'm not saying they were bad either), and quite honestly got loss in the chaos that was Barbie fever followed by Cowboy Carter and Taylor's Tortured Narcissist's Department.

Imagine if she had dropped Houdini late July with a super c*nty video  it would've slayed.

None of those people have faded into oblivion they just aren’t at the top of the charts; most of them still have the power to get a top 10 album and chart a single or two on the Hot 100.

It’s not like Gaga’s career ever hit the same heights she did during those first two years again either

Since Gaga's first two years, she's gone on to win an Oscar, several Shammys and most likely will earn several major nominations next year. Gaga's still at the forefront of pop culture. Those girls I mentioned are or will be completely irrelevant in the near future. Gaga's name shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence as those girls.

not only pretty big, but the third largest in the world, behind only america and japan. her singles have been performing just fine, they aren't going to slash promotional budgets because one audience hasn't seemed to like them when other audiences are her strongest anyway.

The songs doesn’t just hit. 
 

I love them as a pop music fan but they lack the catchiness of her FN releases. When you here Levitating you just know it’s going to be massive.

I’m fine with her underperforming but marketing this album as an artistic shift when nothing with the released singles suggest something deeper is bad. When Gaga was putting out Born This Way you just know it was going to be different.
