As someone who likes both JT and Britney, I think he was an idiot to not make amends with Britney when he had the chance. His album is objectively good but what he failed to understand is the importance of reputation. When Britney apologised and praised Selfish he had the chance to show goodwill and wish her well but what he did was incredibly stupid.

Do you really think he is flopped cos of this isolated issue, or he is just not connecting with the current audience?

And by the way, while we're at it, you forgot the part where Justin keeps taunting, and said he is not sorry after that book and confessions out. A bigger person would have at least own to their mistake and, a bigger person who have a heart will also apologize to give that kind of pain to Britney.  But he didn't. He is a small man for that. Fans would likely let it go after 2 weeks after that book out, or so but that kind of behavior from him just fuel the fire and make it hard.

After all that's been through to Britney the past decade, which is very public, do you actually blame fans to symphatize with and protective of her?
