My only concern is that she'd steal more from Biden than Trump Many moderate democrats would vote for her. So I think she'd be helping Trump sadly. Remember, older black women are solidly the base of the Democrats. They may be considered “moderate.” Most moderate democrats understand the stakes in the upcoming elections. They understand that principle ideas within liberal ideology are at risk, such as abortion. That’s what sort of unites the left — they share these core principles. They know Trump is a clear and present threat. It’s those that are too blinded by tribalism coming from one side or the other that are worrisome. That’s why it’s always crazy to me when neoliberal democrats are delusional enough to claim they can pull Republican votes. Even the most moderate republicans still end up voting Republican.
