Commercial is too risky when on tour or if you have an important engagement that can't be delayed.  Commercial flights are often delayed or cancelled.

anyone who thinks taylor swift could fly commercial is so unserious. imagine being in an airport trying to get to your gate and taylor swift is being escorted to hers???? it would literally be a safety hazard for not just her but the other people in their terminal. the swarming would be madness. better yet, imagine trying to board a plane when it’s known that taylor was sitting in first class. it would take hours. everyone would be trying to get up to first class (or even pass first class as some gates and planes can’t board from the middle meaning every passenger has to walk through first class).

i have mixed feelings about the whole jet thing because her carbon footprint is truly annoying, but at the same time she has a right to visit her parents and her boyfriend, and there’s absolutely no way she could fly commercial. people would’ve been booking flights from LAX to tokyo for after the grammys just in hopes they picked the same one as her. users on this site act as though gaga hasn’t only flown private for a decade now. 

 

edit: not to mention the crowds that would gather at airports waiting for her. smaller airports can’t always accommodate the larger airplanes needed to fly all the way to australia and such while touring. it would cost taxpayers so much to provide enough security for that. i’m sure smaller countries especially she’s going to visit wouldn’t appreciate that. rumor has it she had to start flying into st. louis and driving 4 hours to get to kansas city because people started gathering outside the KC private plane airport once the account in question posted that she had taken off. idk the issue is complicated and frustrating all around

Why does it matter if her plane is still being tracked? Those of you that hate her would still hate her either way. There are many celeb planes that cannot be tracked (private planes are not public information) - like Gaga’s. Yeah, her use is outrageous, but are you all going to suddenly change your opinion of her carbon footprint because her plane tracks aren’t posted anymore? If Gaga’s every flight was posted publicly like this and she had just dealt with a stalker you all would be outraged. 
 

Think of all the celebs that have faced dangerous situations because of stalkers. Even Gaga. People are crazy.

Do you guys not see how this is a HUGE safety thing? Everyone being able to see your every moment of transportation? Her jet stuff is already common knowledge it isn’t “PR” sh!t it’s literally just SAFETY concerns. 

If Gaga’s every transpiration movement was shown on some instagram account you’d all be calling for their stuff to be shut down. Double standards just cuz you all don’t like her fr.
