Well, if dems really want to win, they can, like, stop alienating people for a change. And stop funding a genocide. I am not a citizen (though I live in the U.S.) and Trump winning is not good for me or anyone, really, but at the same time I can see how people may not want to vote for Biden, no matter what happens if Trump wins again. In a similar predicament, I can see myself making the choice of burning down the country (figuratively, as in having Trump win and ruin everything ever) instead of letting the democrats win.

So long ggd, it was nice while it lasted.

So you'd rather have the county burn to the ground (probably figuratively but maybe literally) over someone's bad foreign affairs policies that you don't agree with? That's an interesting choice, I feel like maybe think of the long game, if trump wins, maybe you won't get to decide a president ever again. At least with biden it's only 4 more years.

I know all of that. I am just saying that maybe you should try to understand why some people - especially Muslim voters, for example - might feel that way. What I personally think is ultimately not important anyway.

Polls mean nothing, but I also see them favoring our incumbent more once his ad spending ramps up. Whether he's great or not, he's done some pretty good work coming out of a national emergency and his administration really doesn't gloat achievements enough for a political administration. People just don't know about them because they don't care enough to look into it; once it's shoved in their face I suspect he'll see a little more support than he currently has.

This is my Hannah Montana™️ lipgloss.

How many times do I have to say this, y'all better hope Trump doesn't win. He literally vowed to deport anyone who wants to "abolish Israel" or "anti-america"... So ironically it's the pro-Palestinians and muslims who would be hurt the most by a Trump presidency. So sitting out to "punish Biden" makes no sense

"Only 4 years of Clinton" "Only 4 years of Biden" "Only 4 years". It's the amount of times we have to hear this now and the Dem party still not putting out a better candidate. It's like running from a bear. You don't have to be the fastest you just can't be the slowest.

Gurl I can't vote calm down :huntyga:

I know it doesn't make sense. Nothing makes sense in this political climate, and you are often reduced to voting for harm reduction instead, I understand that. I am just saying that people might be feeling that way nevertheless, and that is still a valid feeling, and that liberals perhaps should stop being so extremely patronizing and off-putting.

Just for this, I'm gonna become a citizen, and then in like 10 years vote and let you know :vegas:

I get that, but nothings gonna change realistically and we can't change that, so what's the point of thinking like that, just vote the least crazy one and be done with it to save the country from further ruin :franminervini:

Speaking from experience in my own country, fearmongering and trying to appease the conservatives do not work in such polarizing times. If Biden loses, he'll lose because some %5 is tired of being bullied into voting for him. I would hate to live in a world where Trump is the POTUS, but I can see A LOT of people who voted for Biden in 2020 not voting this time around simply because people are tired of the lesser evil, and I don't think it's fair to blame these people after the elections. :lana:

Is there some reason my LG7 isn't here? Has she died or something?

I hope polls like this ignite a fuse and make people realize they need to go out and vote.

At the end of the day, one party envisions everyone as part of their ideal county. The other only want people who fit a certain mold to be part of their ideal country.

Although a small number, it baffles me how idiotic some gays are when I find out they support someone who’s party wishes they didn’t exist.

Well, we can all be thankful and celebrate that you're not allowed to vote then.

It's all been said already. It's 4 years with the same lame old man against the end of democracy for the US - as advertised, mind you. Tough choice!!!

Because people are happy that there are potential Trump voters who cannot cast their vote yet?? Have you been there during 2016 to 2020? Have you listened to what the orange clown has planned this time around?

Just say that you want to get rid of democracy altogether, because that's what Trump ANNOUNCED that he is going to do. Getting rid of democracy and minority rights is what he stands for. You making this comment just cements my impression that most people just cannot be trusted to make informed decisions these days. And yet, I'm going to defend democracy to the death.

Of course we must accept a majority vote (also something that Trump doesn't stand for), but please let the sane people be happy about every lost vote that would have gone to the devil, yes?
