and she's not promoting it cus she's busy rehearsing for it (and a tonne of big names are attached to it already so why does she even need to waste time doing so?)

and her promoting her rio show would look awful since other big acts have delayed their projects due to the fires

I mean the Madonna Rio concert was announced on March 25th for a May 4th show. And all she did to promote it was a social media post & a tv advert. She had a 1.6million audience.

I don't think the Rio advertisers are too concerned that we're in January and she hasn't officially announced it yet even though everyone knows about it

Indeed, the Rio show doesn't need advertising. The info leak is already doing damage. Some people are reporting a 400% increase in hotel prices, many of them are already fully booked, lots of people complaining they can't find anything anymore, some Airbnb owners canceling to increase the price. Plane tickets for the weekend had a huge increase in price too in face of demand. And they expect 100% hotels in Copacabana occupied. This show needs only a confirmation, advertising can be minimal.

I'm a massive KP disliker, but you can't denie she worked her ass off for the era, as horrible as the music was. I was kinda hoping Gaga would follow suit with everything being a bit grander than whatever is happening. She's one of the biggest stars on the planet and these half hearted secret releases mostly panned out as quite bad, especially Disease and Harlequin.. and if we're brutally honest I don't think DWAS would fare better if Bruno and his people didn't have their hands in the project as well.

The album ain't even out yet. I'm sure (and I know) there's still so much more to come, and that's not even including Coachella and Copacabana which will be huge for both Gaga and fans.

DWAS worked as a duet and the natural connection between them both even if sonically it was more Bruno's wheelhouse.

When it's debuted numbers arrived people thought it wouldn't fully take off, but then it did due to both of their labels involvement and obviously Bruno and Gaga's chemistry.

It's ok to give Gaga a bit of credit too. From a few bts interviews it sounds like she was hands on with the mv aesthetic too
