Starmie25 13,162
"The Looney Tunes are back in action. The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie, the first-ever fully animated Looney Tunes feature-length movie meant for theaters, will premiere on the big screen. Director Pete Browngardt confirmed the theatrical release with the reveal of the movie's poster on X/Twitter and announced that it will be "in cinema[s] soon." This marks the Looney Tunes' first theatrical movie since 2021's live-action/animated hybrid Space Jam: A New Legacy and just the fourth overall following 1996's original Space Jam and 2003's Looney Tunes: Back in Action. Independent animated features distributor GFM Animation (Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank, 10 Lives, Humbugged) will release the animated Looney Tunes feature in theaters this fall. A release date is TBA." I'm always here for more 2D Animation so i hope this has some type of success worldwide. I think hand drawn it's making a slight comeback in western cinema along with stop-motion which is exciting. They deserve more love tbh. Apparently the movie expected to drop Q2 2024, exciting. https://comicbook.com/movies/news/looney-tunes-movie-theatrical-release-2024-the-day-the-earth-blew-up/ Edited January 20 by Starmie25

Shame though it didn't perform well in cinema. Edited January 20 by Starmie25
RAMROD 104,151
Is this the ones that was supposed to be shelved for tax write off last year? Glad that it can see the light of day, if it is. I read that it's being shopped around to Paramount and Amazon for release.
Starmie25 13,162
Also fun fact: This will be the first ever fully animated theatrical Looney Tunes movie that isn't live action or compilation shorts attatched. Neat. Edited January 20 by Starmie25
