Break The Ice vs. Hot As Ice

I just finished reading the chapter on Britney’s book where she talks about recording Hot As Ice. 
 

She did it in 2 takes, in under 30 minutes surrounded by a bunch of big huge bodyguard men. The feminine goddess energy was in full force while recoding Hot As Ice

Break the ice for me but Hot as Ice is a fantastic bop! 
 

y’all HAVE to check out this video of this producer who breaks down every single layer of the production for Break the Ice. He usually saves the vocals until the end but this is fascinating and makes me obsessed with the track even more! They isolate Keri Hilson’s back up vocals and how they harmonized and it’s an eargasm. And Britney sounds fantastic as well!

I didn’t listen to it when it dropped but somehow makes me feel like I’m back in 2007, and the anime dark video is the cherry on top
