I really feel like many people here underappreciate RedOne's production. I was listening to LoveGame's instrumental and it's almost a song on its own. It's like it doesn't need vocals.

RedOne and Fernando Garibay are responsible for Gaga's unique sound imo. And it's shame that she doesn't work with either of them anymore

If someone, who had been living under a rock (on Mars), asked me for one song to understand who Gaga is, it would be DITD!

Alejandro was great on the album but:

1) All the straights love it and for some, it's the only Gaga song they like/know

2) The video is iconic BUT as soon as they kept the chorus going extra times for extra imagery and scenes, it was TIRED. The Ale Ale Jandroooooo over and over gets old imo.

haha yeah there's definitely similarities, but when you hear Don't Turn Around you immediately go "Oh this is a product of its time". But when Alejandro came out you couldn't really imagine any other artist releasing a song like that. And yes I realize it's ironic that I say it sounds like nothing else from the past when it literally samples another song for the intro).
