Just saw it and wow! Tom Blyth and Hunter Schafer completely owned the movie! Tigris is such a fascinating character and because Tom is so damn fine you keep forgetting Snow has always been dead on the inside. So good.

Im not gonna lie, I was borderline blacked-out because I drank waaay too much at work and then right before the movie :bradley: But I LOVED the book and I loved the movie even more from the half of it that I do remember.

I have to been to the very first showing of every single Hunger Games movie and this one did not disappoint (Though I wish they still gave out lanyards and stuff for opening night this time around).

Also the fact that they added in Viola Davis' character literally named Hetero Chromatica is so iconic :firega:

I know it probably won't be several years at least, but I do hope Suzanne Collins does another HG book. She is seriously an amazing author and she has a lot of passion for the HG series.

Saw it opening night. This is a rare occasion where I love the film more than the book. The film focuses more on what I liked from the book and less from the stuff I didn’t like.

I was wondering if they gave out lanyards at some of the early showings. I still have mine and the Mockingjay pin from the first film. I wish they would have done something again.

I could see her writing from District 13s POV. An outsider perspective to give more insight and world building. They could have them watch a hunger games on television and have a character add commentary.

Just went last night and it was amazing! A really solid adaptation of the book (especially the handling of Snows thoughts and motivations as it’s from his POV). The roles were perfectly casted. Viola Davis was SUPERB and UNHINGED as Dr Gaul.

The only scene I wish was added is when Snow visits his classmate in the hospital.
