Androids are so clunky and non user friendly.

Every Android user I've met is sketchy in one way or another.

It's a red flag to own an Android, some might say.

If Apple Music wants to compete they have to lower that price tag. Essentially, parents are forking out big bucks for iPhones and watches because they see a premium product but it makes no sense for them to pay more for essentially the same service as Spotify.

Isn't it the same price?  Not talking about free Spotify obviously. I'll never understand ppl who can listen to music with ads... It would drive me crazy :bear:

Bit rich to say innovate on software when apple has been the same for like a decade. The newer Google Pixels and Galaxy smartphones have features in the software that apple doesn't, for example on the pixel you can delete people and things out of photos, you can replace for example the sea in a photo with a field of flowers, all done via the software. I will also say the os of the pixel 8 is perhaps even more simplified than iOS and runs buttery smooth, I think at this point it's brand loyalty.

Then you simply misunderstood my comment. I did not mean that iOS is currently making innovative iterations. I meant that since iOS came on the scene, it has become a go to for many while other operating systems no matter how many new updates or innovations they make in their software are still clunky to navigate because the foundation itself is lacking for some. Hence when I mean someone needs to innovate in the software department, I don’t mean updates to an existing os, I mean an entirely new one.

Huawei is cooking their own OS, and it's already very good. The operating experience is similar with Android but with better performance because they can customize its settings with their self-designed chips. For example, even with its dated 7nm chip 9000s, the operation system runs almost as good as iOS, that's the advantage of making your own chips and system, just like iPhone. Other Android phones could never. Sad that US had to ban such innovative product and only Chinese could use them.

The issue with that is that it'll take years for a new OS to be up to par with android or iOS, look at the Huawei OS, it's great on paper but the app store features barely any of the apps we use every day, I dunno maybe it'll happen someday!
