I have both an Android for my personal phone and an iPhone for work. I can confidently say that my Android is way better :vegas:

I feel like most people have it mentally fried in their brain an earlier version of Android (when both the operating system and the phones were very ugly)

I agree. Last time I used an Android it was still named after foods (to be specific, I believe it was KitKat 💀) so I couldn't tell you how well Android works/doesn't work in 2023. However, all of my devices are Apple, so I really can't switch without changing like every device. It all just work too well together (and I MUCH prefer macOS to Windows 11).

I feel like only old people use Androids like my mom and brother :ladyhaha:

We are the opposite. Iphones are very user friendly and easy to operate. My parents use iphone cause they never change and there are not a lot of features android has that they dont need like pens and palm photos etc.

If Apple Music wants to compete they have to lower that price tag. Essentially, parents are forking out big bucks for iPhones and watches because they see a premium product but it makes no sense for them to pay more for essentially the same service as Spotify.

The sound quality of AM is objectively way better than Spotify tho, so I wouldn’t say they are essentially the same quality-wise. I listen to music on good headphones so I really can tell the difference but if you’re listening on speakers with a lot of ambient noise it prob doesn’t matter as much.

I'll never understand why people like Apple's aesthetics. It's all grey and dull and gives a robotic vibe. Windows and Android have always been colorful and more diverse, and I won't go into how more practical and intuitive it is.

Idk how customizable iphones are but I love being able to have everything from theme to app icons changeable on my phone :flutter:

I can even make my own icon pack if I wasn't too lazy to do it oop

I'm not an American, and no longer teenager, but I've been using iPhones since about 10 years now. Thanks to slow and laggy Android that was at that time, which made me try iPhone to realize it's never lagged (well, sometimes an app can lag, but because of it's not managed by Apple, it's not their job to take care of someone's app performance). It also made me go to MacOS to get full experience. I don't need fancy customization options Android gives, I stand with Apple on same-for-everyone design - it's a sign you recognize it's iOS.

Tried Apple Music for 9 months (been a student, so had it really cheap), but MacOS Music app was pissing me off and I mostly listen to music on my laptop.

Apple & Spotify are Gods.

I used to be an Android user but I got tired of my phone slowing down and running like crap in less than 2 years. My iPhone 12 Pro is almost 3 years old and still runs as smooth and good as the day I got it.

Tbh while the internal hardware and price of iPhones have been questionable in the longest, iOS as an operating system is much easier and more pleasant to use than android. People have gotten so used to iOS that a better android phone is not appealing enough, myself included. If tech companies really wanna bring down the monopoly, start innovating in the operating system department.

Androids are so clunky and non user friendly.

Every Android user I've met is sketchy in one way or another.

It's a red flag to own an Android, some might say.

this reeks of elitism and looking down on poorer people like lol
