PACKED arenas or massive stadium crowds?

I think in big cities, where the demand is great (NYC, London, Tokyo, etc.) she should probably go with stadiums. For the rest, just go with arenas.

I've only ever seen Gaga in an arena, but I've seen Coldplay in an arena and a stadium, and I preferred a stadium. I just think the stadium had more atmosphere, and I live in Melbourne where she played 5 arena shows. For the next tour she could easily play at our biggest stadium the MCG which holds 100.000, because when people come out and play in stadiums, the hype alone sells the tickets. So I really want to see her in a stadium next time around. The atmosphere in arenas just doesn't cut it compared to a stadium.

I'm selfish in wanting her to stay with arenas in Melbourne just so I have more time to hang at her hotel.

I think I'll accept three nights at AAMI Park. If she does one like one Etihad or MCG show I'll die.

yeah i went to the 30/6/12 rod laver arena show since the shows in sydney (where i'm from) fell during my uni exams. :toofloppy: the atmosphere in rod laver wasn't as epic as i hoped. it just felt SMALL. i got a reserved seat in the front section, almost directly facing the stage. even though everyone stood up during all the hits, "scheisse" and "americano" :derpga:, people were sitting down during most of the other songs. i stood up and sang during "black jesus", but i was blocking people behind me. general admission next time!

a week ago, i was at the front of the moshpit at big day out at the sydney showground for the killers and red hot chili peppers. hearing 30000+people scream every word to "when you were young" and "californication" were AMAZING

MCG capacities:

madonna did an average of 55000 people per night in 1993 (she did THREE nights) and michael jackson did 65000 people per night in 1996 (he did two). :worship:

MCG's total capacity is 100.000, so I guess depending on the stage size she could get 50.000-100.000.

She could do 3 nights at AAMI, but I'm not a fan of AAMI Park for concerts, so..

She could easily sell out 2 nights at Etihad, but I'm here for 1 MCG show. It'd be epic.

Did you go to the Foo Fighters concert at AAMI?

Actually, now that I think about it, Etihad has the retractable roof so it would practically be like a Saitama Super Arena show. That'd be awesome. :legend:

bon jovi did 54000 at etihad stadium; coldplay= 63000!

gaga sold 60000 tickets in melbourne on the btwb, so etihad stadium sounds like a good idea too! AND it might be indoors if the weather is bad!

I didn't, but my uncle did and he said the venue wasn't great, and I've seen videos and for a Gaga concert I don't think AAMI would be appropriate.

I think Etihad is the best option too. 2 shows at Etihad would be awesome.
