Sis, both Israelis and Palestinians (Hamas for the most part, not normal Palestinians) have done horrible things to people's bodies and committed rape.

That tweet is lying by pretending Hamas (I'm not talking about regular Palestinians, but Hamas) is treating all of the women hostages kindly.

I'm sure some of the women are okay, but some clearly were not (the videos are literally on telegram, and people are being naive if they think women with blood all over their thighs, rear, and crotch are just fine). There are also some first hand accounts now being mentioned from journalists of people witnessing rape.

Anyway, one can criticize Israel, recognize Israel does disproportionate force and war crimes, and that Israel has degraded bodies and committed rape....and acknowledge that Hamas has also clearly committed rape and done terrible things, and rape over the past few days. It's a sad fact that sexual violence is prevalent in conflict.

 I wonder if Egypt will continue to blockade Gaza from their end if Israel does a ground invasion of Gaza. They've been blockading Gaza since 2007.

The person im replying to said Israelis would never do what Hamas does, and they challenged me to post videos of Israel doing what Hamas did, so I linked them the videos!

So im really confused why you assumed that I support Hamas?

She was not stripped naked, she was wearing the same exact outfit in the music festival. The video shows her being taken into the Gaza strip as a hostage, I doubt they had time to rape her during the trip. The person that spit on her is a random person from the street of Gaza hitting all hostages passing the streets.

Its a big possibility she was raped and even killed, as they are terrorists, but we really dont know that yet..

Sorry, I misread what you were trying to say (I get you were just including multiple tweets and the video, and not agreeing with the person posting the first tweet with the video and instead were posting it only for the video).

Her legs are clearly broken in the video, they are pointing the wrong way at an extreme angle.  And no, I don't know if she was raped in particular (hoping she wasn't), but they're literally sitting on her half naked body and celebrating.  Her body is not being treated in a respectable manner at all, that's degradation.

That's degrading someone's body. Also,  I don't want to argue about this, but her shorts are clearly hiked up and part of her top is twisted.

At least it doesn't seem like war with Iran will break out? Both the US and Israel say Iran wasn't involved, and Iran seems to basically say "we'll only strike, if you strike first." WSJ claims other wise, but all people seem to be disagreeing with it.

I am "not" doing Iran apologia, but even though they hate Saudi Arabia and Israel and partially fund a ton of groups (including Hamas)....I don't believe they were involved. Frankly, they have too much **** going on at home (even though Iran will be hurt if Saudi Arabia and Israel normalize ties) and they are...better planned.

it's so depressing how common sexual violence is. I was reading a book on the Balkan wars after Yugoslavia broke up, and the amount of rape that occurred on all sides (Serbia obviously did far, far more than anyone else, but it happened everywhere).
