Most mixed reviews are because it is not focused enough and have too much side stories. Gaga actually had good reviews in general. Hotel is the type of season that had very mixed opinion while airing but people like it a lot more in time. Same happened with seasons like Freak Show, Roanoke, Cult and 1984.
