Im not against the Feminist label because it focuses on women, im against the label because its become very ideologically driven and politically toxic environment.

I dont care what feminism is truly about, and what the real definition is, I care about how its translated into reality today.

Feminism is not a real thing, its just a tool that we use to be effective in pushing equality, and if I dont see it as an effective tool anymore, I wont use it.

“Ideologically driven” I mean…feminism *is* ideological, whether you view it as being attached to a larger leftist movement or not.

Gurl you can't claim to care about how it is in "reality" if you have zero care or understanding of what is being discussed. 

Also if you're against the "label" because its "very ideologically driven" then that's just further proof of how uninformed you are. From it's very inception as a movement it's been an ideologically driven movement. The very first wave originate in the liberal & socialist activist circles of the industrial revolution. Literally the first recognised feminist text is heavily political & ideologically driven. 

The irony is that your anti stance is one directly predicted in the Declaration of Sentiments from Seneca Falls.

I actually agree, but when it becomes too ideologically driven, it becomes toxic.

For a movement to be successful, it has to have a basic simple message that can unite different kind of people.

But when the movement starts becoming too ideological, and starts purity testing everyone, it will start dividing people and not be effective.
