tbh I dont think its fair for big artists and actors to throw subminimal around in regards to their partners who dont have a platform like at all...Bebe recently did that and it backfired on her because the argument she had with her boyfriend seemed to be pretty skewed to make it seem like he did something extremely wrong when what he said to her may have come off weird but we had no nuance or no full picture / context. Same here....this post she liked could mean so many different things ranging from physical abuse to emotional manipulation to just "fear" of like losing the partner because they are in and out etc...it's too vague and gives ppl the opportunity to speculate and paint this person as a demon when we dont know at all. I kinda wish celebs didn't do this tbh. Either be clear and direct or dont really insinuate things...especially when it seems to be THAT serious. please....

I'm going to be real... it's legitimately not that deep. This is instagram. Likes are not nearly as public like they are on platforms like twitter. This person just so happened to stumble across it. It's not any kind of shade and she's not insinuating anything. Lots of artists use their accounts as both personal and public and everyone will like things whether its relevant to their current or their past situations. It's time to stop interpreting everything as a message and understanding that these people are still just people and react and relate/react to social media posts like we do.

I'm going to be real... you have clearly never been on the internet or understand stan culture. What @dit is saying can absolutely happen and HAS happened.

Or maybe Ariana can just scroll and like whatever she likes. It’s really not that serious.

I'm a chronically online person, it really is not that deep. I fully understand stan culture, I also fully understand the internet and how people react and relate to things. And stan culture is exactly why this is an issue, because every single miniscule detail is taken as a message or shade and you forget that celebrities are still people, many of whom use social media the way we do. It's liking a picture on a platform that likes to keep that info relatively private. It's not publicly throwing shade, it's called being a normal person. People like a lot of things on social media (especially on instagram that doesnt have that info easily accessible at any time), that doesn't mean that they necessarily personally relate or that its relevant in the moment.

But… we are talking about the FACT that some stans have a certain complex in regards to their Fave. If Ariana insinuates that her ex “hurt” her/was evil it might trigger someone to go and find the guy and maybe even kill him because he hurt their fave…

and no this is not exaggerating, it has happened before and will continue to happen unfortunately

just because you are adult enough doesnt mean everybody is like this

don’t forget that there are people who have mental illnesses and live eat breathe their fave and turn it into unhealthy fantasies

Then she could just like stuff on private accounts like most celebs do. People really take things out of context all the time. Someone like Ariana could cause a lot of harm to people who are innocent by doing this on their main account. I don't think you understand what kind of influence someone like her has.
