Don't think anything wrong with Meta hiring them... well yeah but copyright laws exist for a reason. whether they're former employees or not threads is an obvious rip-off of twitter so i can see why twitter would seek to protect their intellectual property. it's the exact same reason why tiktok could've happily sued youtube for shorts or instagram for reels, but likely didn't because they have such little goodwill in america anyway.
