That’s why my boyfriend and I decided to take this year off. We considered Beyonce but decided to focus on getting our house in order and work on upgrades. We splurged a lot last year between vacations, Dua Lipa’s show and two of Gaga’s so we needed the break.

Good for you guys and congrats on the house hunt! :nick:

Would’ve killed to see the show. It looks good. With how big the production is maybe it’s not worth it to do it not close to sold out.

Deffo think this is due to Americans coming and taking up a HUGE portion of the European dates, as they want to see the show earlier.

A shame :cyanlights: Not to harp on about the lack of promo, but this is what happens when you give your fans nothing (Beyonce) vs constant promo (Taylor). The audience wants to be entertained, and sadly Renaissance wasn't the complete experience people expected. Great album, though.

did you not hear? it's an era that's meant to be experienced in the gay clubs, not through traditional entertainment :littlepotter:

mother, what must i do?

How is this possible ? The show is absolutly incredible and the european dates were sold out in a matter of minutes. Could this be because of the highly expensive prices in the US?

I went to the show and it was mindblowing, it took me several days to get over it. You really should get excited :vegas:

I think that's what she gets for not releasing music videos.... there's no hype or anything exciting to wanna enter the era by

Not even being a hater, but this show is NOT selling at all, it’s kinda crazy cuz I expected way bigger sales

Expansive, crappy consumerism market where patrons are trying to save, over-saturated number of huge headliners this year, too many tours to count, etc.

washington and pennsylvania are not, on the whole, conservative states. washington's a safe democratic state, with seattle being arguably one of the most liberal cities in america. then pennsylvania's a swing state, with pittsburgh and philadelphia both being strong democratic strongholds. kansas on the other hand, is a conservative state, but neither of those first two are.

i don't think we need to turn to political conspiracy to figure out why these aren't selling. renaissance didn't hit big with the general public and as someone else said, a lot of people outright don't bother with beyonce tickets because they have a reputation for costing thousands and selling out in minutes.

they can be as liberal as can be but they are not the safest places for black and brown people

i live in California, (arguably the most liberal state) and yet many cities are not safe for minority groups.. there are still a ton of sundown towns up and down the entire west coast.

if i lived in some place like Seattle and i wanted to see Beyonce, i would def travel out to somewhere i’d feel more comfortable.

well yes, but there's a difference between them being unsafe and being conservative. you showed a map of a state with a safe democratic margin and implied it was politically conservative.
